What is the Frontier Fiber installation process?
A technician may need to visit your property before the installation process to run a fiber-optic cable from your street to your home. You won’t need to be home for this step.
Once your home is prepared for installation, you can set an appointment time by calling a Frontier customer representative. You can also download the MyFrontier app to make changes to your appointment date and time, estimate your technician’s arrival time, and connect with your technician.
When the technician arrives at your home, they’ll find the best location for your router and run the necessary wiring. If you’ve never had fiber internet, your technician will install an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) to connect with your router and power your Wi-Fi.
